DEVLog - April
Discover what happened in April 2026. ParentSignature got a page for schools, SignatureAPI got automatic signers and a new website, and Letters to the Stars got a compendium.
April was calmer than March, with 540 commits across 9 repositories. The work moved from starting things to making them useful.
I wrote this devlog later, from my GitHub history, to fill a gap in the series.
ParentSignature for schools
ParentSignature is free for teachers. But a whole school has different needs than one teacher. So this month I built a landing page just for schools, at /schools. Many of my 137 commits on the project went into it.
The page has illustrated sections, a pricing block designed like layered sticker cards, and a pilot offer. At the bottom, a school can book a call through Cal.com or send an email. Teachers also see a small promo card for schools after they create a signing link.
I also moved email sending from Resend to Cloudflare Email Sending.
ParentSignature A free tool that lets teachers collect parent signatures on school forms digitally. Signers without a person
SignatureAPI got a new recipient type this month: the automatic signer. An automatic signer is a recipient that signs without a person clicking a button. I documented it on the website the same month.
I also standardized the templates of our lifecycle emails, so they look and read the same.
The other big piece was the website. I finished version 2 of the SignatureAPI website, merged it with the docs into one site, added a blog and deployed it on Cloudflare Workers.
SignatureAPI Electronic signature API for workflows, applications and platforms. A compendium of stars
In Letters to the Stars, your entries become stars in a 3D sky. A sky is beautiful, but it is hard to search. So I added a compendium, a set of views to look back at what you wrote:
- A timeline of your entries.
- A calendar that tracks your mood.
- A catalog of your stars.
- An atlas of your constellations, like a field guide.
I also added pinch to zoom with a soft bounce at the limits, and the app got its own custom domain. I started work on accounts, sync and subscriptions too, but that pull request was still open at the end of the month.
Letters to the Stars Your journal in the sky. Write entries that become stars and connect them into constellations. More NotuDocs content
NotuDocs got 83 commits. All 40 library templates now exist in German, Portuguese, Dutch and Italian. I also wrote guides in English and Spanish about AI documentation and compliance, plus more comparison articles.
On this blog, I added a CV page and improved the tool that generates it.
What’s next
- ParentSignature: more content for schools and teachers.
- SignatureAPI: let AI agents use the API.
- Letters to the Stars: get it ready for phones.
Thank you for reading. If you are a teacher, send ParentSignature to your school!
