Staying True to Your Passion
Life has a way of burying us under expectations and to-do lists. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the struggle that we forget why we started in the first place.
If you’re feeling lost, maybe it’s time to reconnect with your passion.
The Burnout of the Hunt
I’ve been job hunting for a week. The feeling? Pure, unadulterated hopelessness.
Resumes into the void. Interviews that go nowhere. Rejection emails that all sound the same. It’s a grind that makes you question your worth and your choices.
I started doubting everything. Why did I choose this career? Is it worth it? I wanted to crawl into bed and give up.
Instead, I sat down and started coding. Just for me. No clients, no requirements. Just building an app. And in that moment, I was happier than I’d been all month.
Creating something new reminded me: I don’t code for the recruiters. I code because I love building things.
Rediscovering the Spark
What drove you to start? What was the spark?
Passions are the fuel. They’re the reason we wake up excited. When we do what we love, we feel alive.
My love for technology isn’t about the paycheck (though that helps). It’s about innovation. It’s about bringing something new into existence. That sense of creation is my “why.”
My Invitation to You
We all have a reason. Don’t let the daily grind erase it.
When you’re overwhelmed, take a step back. Reconnect with your “why.” Whether it’s a hobby, a side project, or just a moment of reflection—let your passion guide you back to center.
Stay true to what you love. The rest will follow.
