DEVLog - September

Devlog

Hello there! I hope you are doing well wherever you happen to be.

September has just ended. As a new month begins, I want to take this opportunity to look back at everything I accomplished recently.

Presenting Fiu Fiu

I invested most of my time last month into a fresh project called Fiu Fiu. The name comes from the wolf whistle used in countries where Spanish and Portuguese are spoken to express admiration. Improving how you look is the core idea behind this new application.

I started this work at the beginning of the month and I will likely release it by the end of this week or the start of the next. The project is already finished. Currently, I am refining details such as the landing page, video demos, and pricing.

The main objective of Fiu Fiu is to transform how you experience fashion. By using advanced AI technology, the app creates a personalized virtual model that reflects your appearance. This allows you to try on unlimited outfits and discover your ideal style. You can shop with confidence because you will know exactly how the clothes look on you.

Developing this has been a great experience and I cannot wait for the launch. I plan to release a web version that is compatible with Progressive Web Apps to validate the concept. If the reception is positive, I will then launch mobile applications for Android and iOS.

IMG Processing and Scan Documents

Because I spent so much time on Fiu Fiu, I did not make much progress on these other two projects. Although I received several emails from people interested in subscribing to both tools, I did not gain any new subscriptions last month.

IMG Processing

IMG Processing

IMG Processing API that helps to integrate powerful image processing capabilities into your applications in minutes.

During August, Google changed the default number of search results from 100 down to 20. This was an attempt to combat unfair usage by large language models that use Google without generating ad revenue. Unfortunately, this change also hurts traffic for small sites like my SaaS products. My image processing API saw a drastic drop in traffic during September, resulting in fewer than one new user each week.

Scan Documents

Early in the month, I shared several useful use cases for Scan Documents to market the digitization API. I received more than three new registrations each week even though the site is nearly invisible to Google. In fact, its search performance was even worse than that of IMG Processing.

This month I expect to push harder and create more posts to attract more customers. It is difficult, but I only need one success to make every previous effort worth it.

SignatureAPI

I reached new milestones regarding the number of customers, users, and envelopes. I also released a new website, and the SOC2 audit is nearing completion.

What is Next?

Looking ahead to October, I plan to work on the following goals:

  • Fiu Fiu:
    • Launch: Release and market the application.
  • Scan Documents and IMG Processing:
    • Marketing: Create more posts, video demos, and documentation pages while enhancing the landing page.
  • A New Project:
    • After I release Fiu Fiu, I will start a new project. This will be my first venture that is not related to coding. What do you think it could be?

Let’s see how it goes.

Let’s Build

That is everything for now. It was a busy month where I created a product from scratch in only thirty days. We are now very close to the release. Even though my other projects seem to be struggling, I will continue to experiment until I find success.

Thank you for reading this entry. Have a great day, week, and month. Let’s keep building!

See you in the next post.
